Menu Planning Tips
Hey Yall
I figured before putting up my menu for the next two weeks. That I would give out a few tips.
1.Find an empty notebook.Your going to need it.
2.Set up time to look at all your recipes. Remember your notebook this is where it comes in handy. Write out your recipes ingredients. Then take trip to your kitchen.Mark off what you have and write down on another sheet of paper what you need. Also take note of any seasonings that need to be replenished. This saves time and money at the store.
3. Get a calender.I have a huge dry erase one. Much easier in my opinion. I posted a picture of mine.Ignore the fact is says August.
Write down the meal for the day. This is also cuts down on the mom whats for dinner. I will be adding lunches since the monsters are taking lunches this year. Also my oldest is Autistic so this helps him with the planning of his day and it goes way smoother.
That is really all I have tip wise. It has saved us time and money at the store. It is time consuming my two week menu has taken me longer then normal due to a sick toddler.
